The Process

The t-shirt and hoodie have been around FAR before social media channels have been. But, how to take the new frontier that is social media and the need for the majority of people to lump themselves into ever more specific and niche identification groups to new heights in the terms of sales?

Enter in social scaling.

We deployed a plan that had our graphic design team on the forefront of all major internet trends. Think of memes, but for t-shirts.

Then get some initial sales velocity by posting in relevant Facebook Groups, Pages, and other online communities.

Leverage the revenue generate on those designs that took off in the organic channels and then turn around and make them scale exponentially by taking the already winning designs and putting paid ad dollars behind them.

Then it's just a fly wheel that you simple rinse and repeat.

Internet trends do not last long. The first to market within hours of a new viral trend is usually the difference between huge sales and a total flop.

This can still be done today, especially if you have an army of micro-influencers on IG and TikTok.

T-shirts and internet trends will never cease to exist. And for this client, we were able to ride that wave for $21 million in sales and really were the pioneers of what is now known as the Print On Demand industry.
